No mandatory sit out time. Must be able to demonstrate responsibility for academic performance and potential for success due to implementation of proactive changes.
University Scholastic Appeals Board (USAB) Process
When a student on academic suspension is ready, they may appeal to the USAB for reinstatement by submitting an appeal packet demonstrating readiness to return. Students may use the fillable Academic Suspension Appeal Packet form to prepare materials for the USAB.
Once all parts of the academic suspension appeal packet are prepared, each NACOE suspension appeal candidate must meet with the NACOE Assistant Dean to submit materials.
Contact NACOE Dean's Office (406-994-2272).
- Schedule an appointment with NACOE Assistant Dean, Dr. Jennifer Clark. (Face-to-face meetings are preferred, but virtual meetings are available.)
- Explain suspension materials and any additional documentation.
- Final product from meeting will be submitted to the USAB by the NACOE Assistant Dean.
The Office of the Provost will communicate final decisions from the USAB to the student. These decisions are final.
