The Registrar's staff plans and conducts student-registration, maintains and updates academic records, interprets and applies academic policies, certifies eligibility for baccalaureate degrees, determines resident fee classification for tuition purposes, schedules all academic classes and classroom facilities, maintains processes and provides information in support of academic grading and advising, verifies enrollment and degrees awarded, plans and directs the commencement ceremony, and determines eligibility for student participation in athletics, extracurricular and honor society activities, as required.
- Add/Drop Form
- This form is necessary to add/drop after deadlines set by the Office of the Registrar.
- DegreeWorks
- DegreeWorks is a web-based planning tool to help students and advisors monitor student's progress toward degree completion. It also allows for advising notes and provides a place to create semester plans. DegreeWorks provides a more accessible, convenient, and organized way for students to know where they are academically and how they can plan the rest of their college careers. DegreeWorks is not a substitution for consultation with an academic advisor. Students will still need to see an academic advisor in order to receive access to register for classes.
- MSU Course Catalog
- What courses do I need to take? Do I meet the requirements to be on the Dean's List? What is academic suspension? All of this and more can be found in the MSU Course Catalog.
