SaluteSpend a day shadowing a Bobcat Student Cadet from the Army or Air Force ROTC (Reserve Officers' Training Corps) program to learn more about the opportunity to earn a Military Officer commission while completing your college degree. 

During the day you will:

  1. See how current cadets balance school with their ROTC commitments as they develop as military and student leaders.

  2. Attend class with a cadet, explore campus and participate in hands-on military training at Leadership Lab.

  3. Learn more about how the military can help you pay for school and guarantee a job after graduation serving your country from around the world.

  4. Meet new friends, experience college life, and learn how ROTC builds leaders on campus and in the community!

This one-day event will remove the mystery of becoming an Army or Air Force Officer and introduce you to all the possibilities of ROTC at MSU. Let us help ignite your passion and give you tools to achieve all your goals.

Full Day ROTC Programs

What:

In addition to organized activities, high school students interested in Army or Air Force ROTC are paired with a student cadet to experience a day in the life of a ROTC Cadet.

  • Prospective Army candidate students will be introduced to campus life, learn about Army Officership and scholarship opportunities available to MSU Students in addition papticipate in a terrain and map reading lab at the base of the Bridgers. 
  • Air Force candidates will be introduced to campus life, Air Force ROTC classes and also participate in a unique training event.
